My work tends to focus on childhood fears and misremembered details which, instead of receding into the memory as time moves on, become magnified and turn into very personal myths and monsters.

After studying film at Napier Univeristy in Edinburgh I became a freelance illustrator, living and working in Berlin, London and Canada. My background in the moving image has been responsible for both imbuing my work with a sense of narrative and my tendency toward compositions and lighting which attempt to echo still frames.

I have exhibited work in Toronto, Edinburgh and Berlin and created concept art for various short film projects and music videos. When I'm not drawing for other people I write and ink for myself, usually stories which are very nearly but perhaps not quite for children.

All images belong to me and must not be used without permission. All associated work has been cited with the permission of those responsible.
